ANCHORAGE - A fire at the Dillingham school last week was arson, Alaska State Troopers said Friday.

Investigators determined that the fire was set in the school library at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. Someone stacked two chairs on a table in the middle of the library, sprayed an accelerant on the table and across a row of books, and lit the fire, troopers said.

Sprinklers put the fire out before it spread to any other part of the room. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
