Florida Marlins relief pitcher Chad Bentz - a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School - throws during a spring training practice session Wednesday in Jupiter, Fla. Bentz signed with the Marlins in December after pitching in the Montreal Expos organization last season. He became the second Alaska high-school player to reach the major leagues when he pitched for the Expos last year, and he'll try to return to the majors with the Marlins this season. The Marlins played their first spring exhibition game on Wednesday, a 4-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bentz did not pitch in the game.
