ADULT SOFTBALL REGISTRATION

The Juneau Sports Association holds all team sign-ups on Wednesday, March 22 at the High School commons. Sign-ups for coed teams held from 6-7 p.m.; men's and women's teams from 7:30-9 p.m. Teams participating in the 2000 season must sign up during their scheduled time. Info: JSA, 463-3633.

BUCKWHEAT SKI CLASSIC

March 24-25 in Skagway. The 14th annual cross-country ski event includes 10-kilometer, 25K and 50K races, plus a 5K race for kids under 12 and a 5K snowshoe sprint for all ages. Entry forms available at Foggy Mountain Shop. Info: (907)983-3299 or skagnews@pti.net.

LITTLE LEAGUE REGISTRATION

Registration for Gastineau Channel Little League ends March 13. Last two opportunities to register are Saturday, March 11 form 10 a.m to 4 p.m., and Sunday, March 12 from noon to 4 at the Nugget Mall. Info: any board member or Laurie at 790-4768.

JYFL COACHES NEEDED

CAPITAL SCHOOL GYM RENTALS

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-10 p.m., and on Sundays from noon-10 p.m. Rate is $25 per hour plus tax; reservations can be made at the Juneau Parks and Recreation Department. Reservations must be made in person. Info: 586-5226.
