Juneau resident Ruby Linda deLuna, 56, died March 1, 2004, in Juneau.
She was born July 13, 1947, in Juneau. She lived in Juneau from 1947 to 1952, and returned in 1965, living here until her death. She attended Mountlake Terrace High School in Mountlake Terrace, Wash., the University of Washington and the University of Alaska-Juneau. She was a retired state employee, working for the departments of Revenue, Fish and Game, and Education. She was recently employed by Southeast Alaska Independent Living (SAIL, Inc.).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Elizabeth (Betty) Lockridge.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Janis Lockridge and Hal Folette of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Cathie Lockridge; niece, Megan; and nephew, Eugene, all of Juneau.
An open house gathering will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at the home of Mike and Cathie Lockridge, 8173 N. Douglas Hwy. A celebration of life dinner will follow at 6 p.m. at the Shrine of St. Therese.
