64th Gold Medal Tourney season passes available

Season passes for the upcoming 64th Annual invitational Gold Medal Basketball Tournament will go on sale at both Juneau locations of Hearthside Books starting March 1.

Passes for adults are $50 each, and $40 for seniors and youths. Passes will be on sale until Saturday, March 20.

The 64th Annual invitational Gold Medal Basketball Tournament will be held March 21-27 at the Juneau-Douglas High School Gym.

Tournament Co-Chairs for 2010 are Juneau Lions Club Vice Presidents Lion Steve Bradner, Lion Doloresa Cadiente, and Lion John Skan. Major tournament sponsors this year include Alaska Communications System (ACS), The Prospector Hotel, and Tlingit- Haida Regional Housing Authority.

Eight games in the M and B Brackets begin on Sunday, March 21, starting at 10 a.m. and running until 10 p.m.

C Bracket games begin on Monday, March 22. The Monday-Thursday schedule features six games per day in all three brackets, running from 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
