Bridal Fair 2001 shows ways to have perfect day
Although Shakespeare claims "the course of true love did never run smooth," planning a wedding can be simplified - with the aid of detailed planning and expert advice.
Sponsored by local merchants, Juneau's Bridal Fair 2001 offers advice for a perfect wedding day. The fair begins Friday evening with a reception, fashion show, door prizes and refreshments. Bridal gown designer Antonio Fermin gives a seminar on "How to select the right bridal gown for your figure."
Brides will be admitted free. General admission for others is $8 per person. Call 789-9415 for registration.
Prospective brides may arrange individual consultations with Fermin from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m on Saturday. He holds consultations from noon to 6 p.m. the next day as well. There is no charge.
The fair is sponsored by The Wedding Shoppe & Boutique, the Westmark Baranof Hotel, Carrs Floral Expressions, Dockside Jewelry, pianist Tom Locher, Seventh Heaven spa, Juneau Limousine Service, The Gumdrop House, Chocolate Lily, Cuts On Line Salon and Spa, Annie Kaill's, Belles, and the Silver Bow Inn.
