Volunteers help lift the Nenana Tripod on Sunday on the Tanana River in Nenana, Alaska. The tripod is put on the ice as part of the Nenana Ice Classic. The Ice Classic is a guessing game where tickets are bought and people attempt to guess the time when then Tanana River ice will break up. Shawn Carter, 13, of Nenana, watches as the tripod is put up. The tripod caps off a weekend of festivities in Nenana called Tripod Days.
