Arizona governor says she's vacationing in Alaska

PHOENIX — Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer says she’s taking her first vacation in more than two years.

Brewer posted a message on her Twitter page late Friday that she’ll be in Alaska for a few days.

She’s vacationing with her husband and Brewer says she had dinner plans with her spouse for Saturday night

Her public schedule for next week starts with appearances Wednesday in Mesa and Glendale, and a speech Thursday in Lake Havasu City.
