Police and fire blotter

Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


A man, 52, reported about 6:30 a.m. today that three vehicles parked in his driveway on Davis Street had been rifled sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. today. A black and red nylon gym bag containing tennis shoes and makeup was taken as well as miscellaneous change. The area was posed for extra patrol.


A woman, 20, reported shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday a violation of a domestic violation protection order at a Mendenhall Valley residence. Police arrested a man, 44, for violating a domestic protection order. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Minor consuming:

A boy, 19, was cited for minor consuming about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Alaskan & Proud market. Police provided him with courtesy transportation.

Vehicle accidents:

A man, 21, reported about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday that he had been involved in a two-vehicle accident on Monday on Scott Drive. His vehicle, a blue Dodge, sustained about $2,700 damage. The other vehicle, a gray Toyota 4-Runner, sustained about $3,700 damage; the driver was a man, 32.


Police conducted a traffic stop about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on Merchants Wharf and cited a man, 20, for driving without a valid operator's license. His vehicle was released to an acquaintance.

About 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a verbal altercation between two students at Mendenhall River School. One student allegedly made threats to another. No ages or genders were given.

Police conducted a traffic stop about 8 p.m. Tuesday at Vintage Park after receiving a report that the driver of a white Chevy had a revoked operator's license. A man, 39, was cited for driving while his license was revoked. He was released at the scene.
