Quilt 2001, Capital City Quilters' annual quilt show, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Centennial Hall, free. Demonstrations, small quilt auction, 120-plus quilts on display.

"Patterns in the Neighborhood: Some Thoughts about Design," March 10 and 17, City Museum. Workshop by artist and weaver Marcia Stier on finding patterns and designs from the surrounding environment for quilting, painting, basketry, beading, jewelry and weaving.
