JSA introduces Master League in softball

The Juneau Sports Association is planning to introduce a Master League for the 2005 softball season.

The new league, which is dependent on player interest, would feature teams for men age 40-over, and women age 35-over. The league would feature an eight-game, Saturday-only season, and games would not conflict with any of JSA's other leagues.

The participation fee for Master League is $55 per person. For more information, look on the JSA Web site at, or call 463-3633.

2005 team registration will be held on Saturday, March 16, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School library. Additional information can be found in the Sports in Juneau calendar.
