Police arrested a 27-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence criminal mischief at 12:03 a.m. Tuesday in the Lemon Creek area. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A burglary to a Toyota sport-utility vehicle was reported at 5:48 p.m. Monday in the 2700 block of Douglas Highway. Nothing was reported stolen.
Two envelopes were reported stolen from a 1991 Toyota Camry in a vehicle burglary reported at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday on D Street near the Federal Building downtown.
A cellular telephone was reported stolen at 6:48 p.m. Monday in the 3300 block of Nowell Avenue in the Douglas area.
A window was reported damaged at 1:18 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of Front Street downtown.
About $300 in damage was reported to the ignition and steering column of an unlocked Ford F150 pickup at 9:57 a.m. Tuesday in the 12400 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
Police cited a 25-year-old man on charges of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic and failing to carry proof of insurance after an accident at 1:15 p.m. Monday on Egan Drive near Vanderbilt Hill Road. He was driving a 1998 Chevrolet that reportedly hit a 1994 Toyota driven by a 29-year-old man. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Chevrolet. No damage was reported to the Toyota.
An inflatable raft was reported at 6:52 p.m. Monday floating in an Auke Bay harbor.
