Our son and brother passed away on Feb. 9. We celebrated his 39th birthday on Feb. 15. We would like to thank Hangar on the Wharf for the use of the Hangar Ballroom and for catering the gathering.
For the many years that Curtis required care, we also owe a sincere and heart-felt thank you to: Hospice and Home Care for their excellent and useful advice, and for their care and support; Care-A-Van and Capitol City Fire and Rescue, for gentle and timely rides to and from medical appointments and, occasionally, to be admitted at Bartlett Regional Hospital; Cornerstone Home Health... for more than 15 years of caring, making it possible for Curtis to remain at home. Tara, Tina, Kristina, Terry, Jason: all of you made his difficult road much easier to travel... for all of us.
Special thanks to Curtis's special friend and caregiver, Keith Hinke, who played Dungeons and Dragons and other games with him for over 20 years; and, also, to Jeremy Johnson and Mike Baxter, his wonderful roommates, who shared in his life as well.
And thank you to our extended families and friends who sent cards, letters, pictures, emails, and blogs, sharing favorite remembrances of Curtis. Know that you are in our hearts and are a part of our lives as you were a part of Curtis's.
