Toby Foster and Zuzana Uhrin were married Saturday, Feb. 24, at Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove, Calif.
Zuzana is the daughter of Olga and Ladislav Uhrin of Vancouver, British Columbia. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, earned a medical degree from UBC and did a fellowship in rheumatology at Stanford University. She is an internist with a specialty in rheumatology and is employed by Northern California Arthritis Center in Concord, Calif.
Toby is the son of Scott Foster and Odette Foster of Juneau. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School in 1989. He earned bachelor and master of science degrees from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, Calif., and works as a field applications engineer with C-Port in San Jose.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and are making their home in San Jose.
Best man for the couple was Erickson Moskito of Seattle, also a graduate of JDHS, and Catriona Jamieson of Vancouver was matron of honor. Also attending the wedding was Zuzana's maternal grandmother, Anna Sufliarsky, of Detva, Slovakia.
