Fast ferry issue began with Knowles

Letter to the editor

I'd like to respond to Rob Glenn's letter ("Ferry system was set up to fail.") In his letter, he implies that the Murkowski administration is to blame for the problems related to our fast ferries. It seems to me that Knowles was our governor when this whole mess began.

His administration was warned about the failures of the Canadian fast ferries and other possible problems. Even after all of the advice against using fast ferries, they went ahead and ordered them. Our present administration merely took delivery of the vessels. In the future, I hope that Mr. Glenn will keep his facts straight when using a public forum.
