Police said they responded to a call at about 2:40 a.m. that Lori Jo Hall, 46, was unconscious at a hotel located in the 2300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. An employee at Best Western Grandma's Feather Bed told the Empire the incident happened there.

When the police and members of the Capital City Fire and Rescue arrived, Hall was dead, police said.

There were no visible signs of injuries to Hall, but police said alcohol was involved.
