Troopers ask for help in fuel thefts

JUNEAU - Alaska State Troopers are requesting help with information about home heating fuel thefts that have occurred over the past several months in Southeast.

On Friday, troopers received a report of about 100 gallons of heating fuel worth more than $350 stolen from a residence on Guard Court in Ketchikan.

The theft occurred sometime over the past month, troopers said.

Anyone with information about Friday's report or other similar criminal activity is asked to call Alaska State Troopers at (907) 225-5118. Callers can remain anonymous.
