The four finalists are Dalton West of Liberty Hills, Texas, Sherrill Murray-Lazarus of Newburgh, New York, William McLeod of Sparks, Nev., and Ryan Alsup of Castle Rock, Colo.
The Juneau School District is hosting a meet-and-greet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in the JDHS library.
On Friday, each of the four finalists will be publicly interviewed by a 10-member committee consisting of members of the JDHS site council, Juneau Education Association and Juneau Education Support Staff, the community, and district administration.
Interviews will last about an hour, with a short break between candidates. The first is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. The last is scheduled to end at 3 p.m. Candidates are scheduled to be interviewed in the order listed above.
The interview committee will consider all written input from JDHS students and the public in its deliberations. Comment forms will be available at both events.
