Court records show the following legal actions among those taken in Juneau Superior and District courts through March 9:

Judgments

Donald C. Whittaker, 40, was found guilty of two counts of violating conditions of probation stemming from an offense on March 6. Judge Peter B. Froehlich sentenced him to pay a $250 fine and to 30 days in jail. Whittaker was also found guilty of assault stemming from an offense on Feb. 20. Froehlich sentenced him to pay a fine of $1,000 with $500 suspended; to serve 120 days with 120 suspended; to enroll in, pay for and complete a substance-abuse treatment course; to not consume alcohol or go where it is sold or served; to pay a $50 surcharge; to comply with sentence; and to two years probation.

David White Jr., 30, was found guilty of being a drunken person on a licensed premises stemming from an offense on Jan. 20. Froehlich imposed a fine of $500 with $400 suspended; two days in jail; a substance-abuse treatment program; to maintain employment; to pay or work off a $50 surcharge; and to a year's probation.

Brenda Williams, 31, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated stemming from an offense on Feb. 5. Froehlich imposed a fine of $500 with $250 suspended; 33 days in jail with 30 suspended; revocation of her operator's license for 90 days; to a substance-abuse treatment course; to pay a $75 surcharge; to pay $210 incarceration fee; to violate no laws; and to a year's probation.

Ralph D. Jim, 21, was found guilty of larceny stemming from a Jan. 12 offense. Froehlich imposed sentence of 30 days in jail; a substance-abuse treatment course; a $50 surcharge; to attend adult education twice a week and earn a GED by June 1; and two years probation. Jim was also found guilty of two counts violation of terms of probation stemming from a March 3 offense. On one count, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail and two years probation on this charge. On the second count, he was also given 10 days in jail.

Jeremy A. Oudekerk, 19, was found guilty of violating terms of probation stemming from a March 3 offense. Judge Froehlich sentenced him to 4 days in jail; a substance-abuse treatment course; to apply and assign his Permanent Fund Dividend to pay restitution of $331; and two years probation. He was also found guilty of larceny stemming from a July 28, 1999, offense. He was to serve 30 days in jail; pay a $50 surcharge; maintain employment; pay restitution; and serve three years probation.

Robert D.Melton, 47, was found guilty of three counts of violation of conditions of probation stemming from an offense on March 3. Froehlich sentenced him to a total of 21 days in jail; to a substance-abuse treatment course; and to two years probation. He was also to take advantage of all alcohol counseling while incarcerated.

Zebulon Arasmith, 21, was found guilty of two counts of violating terms of probation stemming from an offense on Nov. 12, 1999. On one count, Froehlich sentenced him to two days in jail; to forfeit his dog; to not own or possess a dog for two years; to two years probation; to violate no laws; to complete 40 hours of Community Work Service (CWS) by April 28. On the second count, Froehlich sentenced him to three days in jail; to pay old fine by May 2. He was allowed to do CWS in lieu of jail.
