Driving while intoxicated:
Police conducted a traffic stop in the Juneau Airport's parking lot about 8 p.m. Thursday and arrested Guy Walther, 35, for drunken driving and driving without a valid operator's license. He was additionally charged with refusal to take a breath test. Walther was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A woman, 44, reported about 4:45 p.m. Thursday an altercation between her husband, 44, and a man, 32, at Eaglecrest Ski Area. The argument was over a backpack. Investigation continues.
Police conducted a traffic stop shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday on Churchill Way and cited a woman, 42, for driving while her license was revoked. She was released at the scene. Her vehicle was left parked.
Police conducted a traffic stop about 4 p.m. Thursday at the ferry terminal on Glacier Highway. A man, 25, was cited for driving a motorcycle without a valid operator's permit. He was released at the scene.
Police conducted a traffic stop about 9 p.m. Thursday on Glacier Highway near Fred Meyer. A boy, 16, was cited for driving without a valid license. He was released at the scene. The vehicle was released to a boy, 17, at the request of the driver.
A woman, 25, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Floyd Dryden Middle School on three outstanding warrants. One warrant was for issuing a bad check. One was for failure to comply with conditions of parole and answer to a charge of issuing a bad check. Another was for second-degree theft and third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
A boy, 14, was arrested about 10:15 a.m. at Cedar Park on an outstanding warrant and transported to Johnson Youth Center. The warrant was for failure to appear at an arraignment on March 3. The original charge was underage drinking.
