Former legendary Juneau-Douglas High School men's basketball coach Jim Hamey, bottom left, is greeted by students at Juneau International Airport in 1982, when the team arrived after winning the state 4A basketball tournament. The team went undefeated against Alaska teams, losing only once to a Washington state team. Hamey told his players he would shave his head if the team went undfeated. He was shaved bald in front of the student body after arriving back at JDHS.
