Former longtime Juneau resident Lorraine Kincaid died March 6, 2008, in Portland, Ore. She was 49.
Born April 22, 1958, in Sitka, she was raised in Juneau as one of 13 children born to Gene and Harriet Chilton.
She attended school in Juneau and married Ron Kincaid. The family later moved to Portland, Ore., where she lived for 16 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Elisa Lee and her husband, Jim; granddaughters, Cecilia Marie Lee and Michelle Ann Lee; mother, Harriet Chilton; brothers, Leslie Chilton, Gene Chilton and his wife, Jennifer, Douglas K. Chilton, and Brian Chilton and his wife, Alicia; sisters, Beverly Kerr and her husband, James, Ellen Field and her husband, Russ, and Ann Martha Cox and her husband, Brian; and 42 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gene D. Chilton; daughter, Ronnie Michelle Kincaid; brother, Eric Chilton; and sisters, Sharon Chilton, Doris Sage, Elaine Sullivan and Janice Wren.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall in Juneau.
