FAIRBANKS - A Fairbanks man faces felony drug charges after police say a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of marijuana, methamphetamine and more than 60 pills of varying colors.
Officers also seized more than $1,100 in cash from a sport utility vehicle driven by 29-year-old Sherman Howard.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported that Howard was on parole for a 2005 felony drug conviction, and was taken into custody Friday at the request of his parole officer.
