“Battle: Los Angeles” (PG-13) — Daily, 7:10 p.m., Saturday-Sunday matinee 2 and 4:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday late show 9:30 p.m. Synopsis: A Marine platoon faces off against an alien invasion in Los Angeles.

“The Adjustment Bureau” (PG-13)— Daily, 7 p.m., Saturday-Sunday matinee 1:50 and 4:20 p.m., Friday-Saturday late show 9:40 p.m. Synopsis: The affair between a politician and a ballerina is affected by mysterious forces keeping the lovers apart.

“Red Riding Hood” (PG-13) — Daily, 7:20 p.m., Saturday-Sunday matinee 1:50 and 4:40 p.m., Friday-Saturday late show, 9:50 p.m. Synopsis: Set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family’s displeasure.

“Mars Needs Moms” (PG)— Daily, 6:50 p.m., Saturday-Sunday matinee 1:30 and 4 p.m., Friday-Saturday late show 9 p.m. Synopsis: A young boy named Milo gains a deeper appreciation for his mom after Martians come to Earth to take her away.

“Rango” (PG) — Daily, 7:10 p.m., Saturday-Sunday matinee 1:40 and 4:20 p.m., Friday-Saturday late show, 9:30 p.m. Synopsis: A chameleon that aspires to be a swashbuckling hero finds himself in a Western town plagued by bandits and is forced to literally play the role in order to protect it.

“Take Me Home Tonight” (R) — Daily, 7 p.m., Saturday-Sunday matinee 2:10 and 4:10 p.m. Friday-Saturday late show, 9:40 p.m. Synopsis: Follow an aimless college grad who pursues his dream girl at a wild Labor Day weekend party. He, his twin sister and their best friend struggle with their burgeoning adulthood over the course of the night.

“I Am Number Four” (PG-13) — Daily, 7:30 p.m., Saturday-Sunday matinee 2 and 4:30 p.m., Friday-Saturday late show, 10 p.m. Synopsis: John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed ... he is Number Four.

GOLD TOWN NICKELODEON

“Oscar-nominated Animated Short Films of 2011” (PG) — 7 p.m. Thursday, 7 and 9 p.m. Friday, and 4 p.m. Saturday. Films: “Day & Night,” “The Gruffalo,” “Let’s Pollute,” “The Lost THing,” “Madagascar, Carnet de Voyage.”

“The Fantastic Mr. Fox,” (PG) — 7 and 9 p.m. Saturday, 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday, and 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15. Tuesday’s show will be followed by a brief talk by production designer Chris Appelhans. Synopsis: An urbane fox cannot resist returning to his farm raiding ways and then must help his community survive the farmers’ retaliation.

“Iron Jawed Angels,” (PG) 6 p.m., Monday, March 14. Conscientious Projector’s third film of the year. Synopsis: Defiant young activists take the women’s suffrage movement by storm, putting their lives at risk to help American women win the right to vote.
