Juneau 4-H cross-country ski program: Meet from 1:30-3 p.m. every Sunday at locations TBA (call the University of Alaska Southeast Cooperative Extension Service for the location of that week's outing). The program is open to skiers in grades K-12, and parents are invited to participate. Membership fee for 4-H program is $6. Juneau Sports Association softball registration: JSA will hold all team sign-ups for the 2001 JSA adult slow-pitch softball season on Wednesday, March 21, at the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School commons area. Registration for coed teams will be from 6-7:30 p.m., while men's and women's team register from 7:30-9 p.m. Teams wanting to participate in 2001 must register during their specified time period. Coed team fees are $300 for 12-game schedule and $400 for 16-game season, with a $23 player fee. Men's and women's team fees are $670 for 22-game schedule, with $23 player fee. Juneau Youth Football League Crimson Bears chorebusters: The Juneau Youth Football League's Juneau-Douglas High School Crimson Bears annual chorebusters service is now taking reservations. Open Gyms

Youth open gyms: From 8-11 p.m. on Saturdays (3/17) at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School, and from 8-11 p.m. on Fridays (3/16) at Floyd Dryden Middle School. No cost for students grades 5-12. Adult volleyball/basketball open gyms: at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School, Cost is $4. From 7-9 p.m. on Sundays (3/18) and Fridays (3/16). Gastineau Channel Little League open gyms: Open gyms are on Sundays through March 18.
