Either the Crimson Bears or Knights will face Cook Inlet Conference champion East or Mid-Alaska Conference champion Lathrop in the semifinals.
On the other side of the bracket, top-seeded Wasilla faces Palmer, while Dimond takes on Service High School of Anchorage.
The Juneau-Douglas girls also received a second seed and will face Mid-Alaska Conference champion West Valley in the quarterfinals.
Either JDHS or the Wolfpack will play either third-seeded East or sixth-seeded Palmer.
Top-seeded Wasilla draws South Anchorage in the first round while Chugiak and Soldotna will square off in the other quarterfinal.
Seeds are assigned according to a team's ranking in the Winning Percentage Index. The WPI is a mathematical formula which gauges teams based on overall record and strength of schedule against Class 4A opponents.
The Class 4A tournament will take place March 22-24. The first-round games will take place at Service High School with the semifinals and title game happening at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage.
