JUNEAU - Juneau resident Lisa Morley has been appointed to the Statewide Independent Living Council by Gov. Sarah Palin.
Morley is a social services program coordinator for the Division of Senior and Disabilities Services in the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. She also worked as an associate coordinator of home and community-based grants for the division.
Morley has a bachelor's degree from the University of Alaska Southeast and was appointed to a seat reserved for a state liaison from the division to the council.
