Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, Wilson Nicklie, 39, was arrested on Mendenhall Loop Road for drunken driving and additionally charged with driving without a valid license. Nicklie was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. His vehicle was impounded.

About 1:20 a.m. today, Clinton Kearney, 29, was arrested on Village Street for drunken driving. He also was charged with driving while his license was suspended. He was lodged at state prison.

Assaults:

About 3:30 a.m. today, a man, 22, was arrested on Postal Way for disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer. Another man, 22, was arrested for assault and criminal trespass. Alcohol was involved in the incident. Both men were lodged at state prison.

Thefts:

On Friday, Alaska State Troopers were alerted by an employee of Klawock Fuels Co. that about $600 worth of construction materials had been stolen. Investigation is continuing.

At 1 a.m. today, a woman, 31, reported the theft of a green backpack from her parked vehicle in the Cornerstone teen shelter lot. The backpack contained items valued at $80.

Vehicle accidents:

Just before 3 p.m. Monday, a woman, 31, was cited on Egan Drive outbound at the McNugget intersection for careless driving. The GEO Metro she was driving struck a Dodge van operated by a man, 30. The van driver was cited for driving without a valid operator's license.

Hit-and-run incidents:

Shortly before 9 p.m. Monday, a man, 46, reported his 1984 Ford pickup hit-and-run on Glacier Highway. The vehicle was pushed into a building post. Damage to the vehicle's bumper and the building was estimated at $200 each.

Traffic stops:

About 7:30 a.m. Monday, a man, 43, was cited on Channel Drive for driving without a valid license after an officer stopped the vehicle he was driving. He was release at the scene. The vehicle was impounded.

About 11:45 a.m. Monday, a woman, 37, was cited for driving without a valid license after an officer stopped her on Yandukin Drive. She was released at the scene. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
