JUNEAU - The Juneau Student Symphony will present its free Spring Concert at 4:30 Sunday, March 16, in the commons at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School.

The students will play "Overture to the Magic Flute" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, "Adagio and Allegro" by Arcangelo Corelli, "Peasant Suite" by Béla Bartok, and "Hungarian Dance" by Johannes Brahms.

The student symphony is a group of about 50 Juneau School District students who play in a full development orchestra that has two concerts per academic year. The Juneau Symphony calls the student symphony an "important training ground" for young musicians who may eventually graduate to the large adult symphony.
