Juneau 4-H running club: Registration for a new youth running club will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, at the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School Commons. The club is for runners in grades K-5 and will meet every Thursday through July 5 from 5-6 p.m. at locations to be announced. The club will have a final run on Saturday, July 7, during the Governor's Cup fun run. Local runners John and Jamie Bursell will lead the club, and volunteer coaches are welcome. Juneau Sports Association softball registration: JSA will hold all team sign-ups for the 2001 JSA adult slow-pitch softball season on Wednesday, March 21, at the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School commons area. Registration for coed teams will be from 6-7:30 p.m., while men's and women's team register from 7:30-9 p.m. Teams wanting to participate in 2001 must register during their specified time period. Coed team fees are $300 for 12-game schedule and $400 for 16-game season, with a $23 player fee. Men's and women's team fees are $670 for 22-game schedule, with $23 player fee.
