Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Henry Torres Howard, 49, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday on Egan Drive near Vanderbilt Hill Road on a charge of drunken driving. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and left the vehicle he was driving legally parked.

• Police arrested Gregory Isturis, 42, at 12:11 a.m. Friday on a charge of drunken driving. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested Miles Baker, 41, on charges of drunken driving and refusing a breath test at 2:30 a.m. Saturday near John Street. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested Victoria Keso, 20, on a charge of drunken driving at 3:30 a.m. Saturday near 10th Street. She was taken to the state prison, and the vehicle was impounded.


• A woman reported at 7:16 p.m. Thursday that her purse was stolen. The purse contained $20, a cellular telephone, identification and a credit card.

• A woman reported at 12:10 p.m. Friday near Glacier Highway the theft of heating oil.


• At 2:16 p.m. Thursday, a man reported a Dodge Neon vandalized near Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $800.

• At 3:21 p.m. Thursday, a woman reported that a tire on her van had been slashed, the propane to her trailer had been shut off and her telephone line had been cut near Churchill Court in the Lemon Creek area.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a bus driver at 4:51 p.m. Thursday on a charge of failing to yield after an accident at Seward Street and Marine Way downtown. The bus reportedly stuck a 1987 Jeep.

• A 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche struck a building pillar and another 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche that was parked at 4:10 a.m. Friday on Hospital Drive. The first Avalanche sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage. Damage to the parked Avalanche was estimated at $1,000.

• At 6:30 a.m. Saturday near North Douglas Highway a man, 30, driving a 2001 Audi lost control of the vehicle, which struck a snowberm and slid into a tree. The vehicle, worth $30,000, was totalled.

Lost property:

• A woman reported at 5:52 p.m. Thursday that she lost her wedding rings near Melrose Street in the Mendenhall Valley. One ring was valued at $600. Another was valued at $90.

• A woman reported two missing checks at 5:56 p.m. Thursday downtown.

• A man reported losing his wallet at 5:53 p.m. Thursday downtown. He reported that the wallet contained between $50 and $100.

• A man reported losing his wallet at 11;35 a.m. Friday downtown. The wallet contained identification and various membership cards.
