I support this road because Southeast Alaska needs it. If you look at all of Southeast you see a steady decrease in population. Have you tried to get a job in this town or any other Southeastern town? I want to live in Wrangell, but I can't because you can't get jobs there. So I've made Juneau my home and hope to do so for some time. It doesn't seem like it's going to be that way if we let this place lose its people. If we lose too many more people, we will lose our capital and then we're done for. Someone said that we will get more crime with a road. What? Might be right, some "teenagers" might jump in their truck and drive through Canada from Anchorage or Fairbanks to commit some crimes. In a recent letter to the editor someone stated that with the road we will have 30 percent fewer brown bear, the salmon, herring and eulachon populations will decrease. Where is this fact?
Don't state things as fact if you cant back it up. As a point I won't state anything unless I have credible sources. So I ask please stick to facts.
