Vehicle accidents:

• A 17-year-old boy was cited at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday near Highland and Egan drives for failing to exercise due care after a two-car accident involving his 1999 Dodge and a 52-year-old woman's 1990 Mazda SW.

• An 18-year-old man was cited at 7:48 a.m. Wednesday near mile 6 of North Douglas Highway for failing to maintain a safe distance after he drove his blue 2004 Subaru Legacy into a school bus. No one was injured, but the Subaru sustained $5,000 in damage.

•At 11:24 a.m. Wednesday, a 48-year-old man reported his Chevy Impala was struck by a hit-and-run driver while parked near North Franklin Street. The rear bumper sustained an 8-inch crack.


• At 11:02 a.m. Wednesday, an 18-year-old woman reported a black nylon bifold wallet was stolen from her unlocked vehicle during the night. The wallet contained identification, paperwork and $100 in cash.

• At 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, a $10.84 bottle of alcohol was stolen near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.


• At 8:26 a.m. Wednesday, a 52-year-old woman reported the rear driver's-side window of her 1995 Plymouth Voyager was broken out sometime between Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning near Third Street.


• A 66-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespass at 11:09 a.m. Wednesday near Seventh Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
