ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police said a shootout between two cars was linked to a $100,000 burglary.
The shootout occurred Friday morning on Minnesota Drive. No one was injured.
The shootout was linked to a residence that detectives want to search for guns, cash and jewelry, authorities said. Police were preparing to obtain a search warrant on the home.
Police spokesman Paul Honeman said at least one of the people involved in the shootout lives in the home.
The shootout may have been a dispute over a stolen vehicle, Honeman said.
