School Board to discuss budget at meeting

The Juneau School board will consider approving its budget for the 2011 fiscal year at its meeting tonight.
The budget has expenditures of $87.9 million and budgets $750,000 to remain unspent at the end of the year. The city and borough's contribution is budgeted at $26.1 million.
The school board must pass its budget on to the city and borough by the end of March, at which time the city will take it under consideration.
