MADD-Tiny Trotters basketball game -- Mothers Against Drunk Driving hosts the Tiny Trotters basketball game at 8 p.m. at the Juneau-Douglas High School gym. The Tiny Trotters are the smallest team in the world, with players ranging in height from 2-foot-6 to 4-6. This is a fund-raising event for MADD. Info: MADD event office, 586-1422.

Juneau-Douglas High School/Juneau Youth Football League chorebusters program -- This year's chorebusters program begins on Saturday, March 23. Register early to reserve local football players to help with your yard work, moving, spring cleaning and other grunt labor duties. Eaglecrest Ski Area Learn to Ski Weekend -- The 22nd annual Learn to Ski Weekend at Eaglecrest is March 23-24. The weekend features programs for students in grades 3-5 who have never skied before. A drawing has been set to pick 45 participants in the program and applications are available from all elementary schools, Capital Chevrolet, Foggy Mountain Shop, Nugget Alaska Outfitter and Eaglecrest Ski Area. Completed applications must be turned into elementary school offices or the Eaglecrest business office by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19. HoopTime Basketball's inaugural Bill Tompkins Memorial 3-Man Jam -- This three-on-three tournament is for players in grades 5-12 and takes place March 25-29 at the National Guard Armory in Juneau. Juneau 4-H Nordic Ski program -- The club skis from 1:30-3 p.m. every Sunday starting in January. Membership is $6 to join 4-H, plus club ski rental is $20 for the season. Students renting skis are expected to attend at least 80 percent of the club ski outings. Parents are encouraged to participate, but they must provide their own skis.
