Weir, George marry in Juneau

Heather M. Weir and Russell C. George of Juneau were married in a ceremony on Jan. 10, 2004, at Northern Light United Church. A reception followed at the Moose Lodge.

The bride is the daughter of William R. Weir and Mary Lucille Weir (deceased). She is a Juneau-Douglas High School graduate and is employed as a customer service representative for First National Bank of Alaska.

The groom is the son of Albert E. George (deceased) and Nancy P. George (deceased). He is a graduate of Benson Union High School in Arizona and is retired from the Juneau Police Department.

The matron of honor was April Jackson. Bridesmaids were Rhonda George and Melody Morris, and flower girls were Sylina Jackson and Clarissa Peratrovich.

The best man was John Hansen, and groomsmen were Earl George and Doug George.

The couple are making their home in Juneau.
