Description of organization: Volunteers for Helping Hands collect and distribute food to those in need, always maintaining an individual's dignity and values. All work is performed by volunteers. Areas of involvement are emergency assistance, crisis intervention and housing and homelessness.

Volunteer positions available: Flexible hours available for volunteers to pick-up food at grocery stores; sort and stack food from 5 to 6 p.m., Tuesdays and Fridays; and help distribute food during open hours, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesdays and Fridays.

In-kind/material donations needed: Canned foods and other food donations.
