Local author Lynn Schooler will read from his memoir, “Walking Home” at 7 p.m. Friday at the downtown library.
“Walking Home” details the author’s physical and emotional journey on the outer coast, from Lituya Bay to Yakutat. Schooler’s first book, “The Blue Bear,” was recently adapted for the stage and performed at Perseverance Theatre.
Schooler also recently released his first novel, “Heartbroke Bay,” under a psedonym, Lynn D’Urso. The book describes his vision of real-life events that occurred in Lituya Bay at the turn of the century.
Both books will be available for purchase and signing on Friday.
