Deadline nears for scholarships for Native Libraries, Archives and Museums Summit

The Alaska Native Libraries, Archives, and Museums Summit will be held April 27-30 in Anchorage. The summit’s title is Northern Light: Keeping Our Stories Alive.

The summit is intended for professional and paraprofessional staff members working in Alaska libraries, museums and cultural centers that serve an Alaska Native population or who work with Alaska Native cultural materials. The summit will offer training at the paraprofessional and professional level, and it will serve as a launching point for a strategic plan to make training in these fields more accessible.

Scholarships for lodging, travel and registration are available; contact anlams@alaska.gov. The deadine is March 15.
