Police and Fire

Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• James Ray. 24, was arrested for drunken driving at 1:18 a.m. today near Atlin Street and Loop Road. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• Police arrested and later released Raymond Woodbury, 28, for drunken driving at 1:48 a.m. today near Mall Road.

Assaults:

• Police arrested a 40-year-old woman for misdemeanor assault at 4:54 p.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. A 35-year-old man also was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Both were evaluated at Bartlett Regional Hospital and lodged at the state prison.

Thefts:

• A woman reported at 11:02 p.m. Sunday from West 11th Street the theft of a portable CD player with cassette adapter from her Subaru Legacy.

• A man reported at 6:15 p.m. Sunday that 45 CD's were stolen from his pickup truck sometime overnight, The CD's are valued at $585. Police have no leads or suspects.
