Juneau police arrested two men they allege were involved with burglaries in two homes two years ago.
Juneau resident Angel "Jarell" Gonzales, 18, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony burglary and theft, according to the Juneau Police Department.
Ryan Griffin, 19, also of Juneau, was arrested Monday on multiple felony charges of burglary, theft, vehicle theft and criminal mischief, police said.
Police said the pair was connected to two residential robberies that took place two years ago.
On March 6, 2006, police were called to a home on Point Louisa Road, where they said optical equipment, electronics and a car had been stolen.
The car was later recovered, but had been damaged, police said.
Four days later, police said they were called to another home on Thunder Mountain Road. This time, cash and a firearm had been taken, police said.
In a statement, police said the arrests of the two men followed a "persistent investigation."
Both men were held at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail, police said.
