The Learning Connection offers preparation for citizenship test

Posted: Wednesday, March 19, 2008

JUNEAU - The Learning Connection will offer a class to help people prepare for the U.S. citizenship test.

This class will help students study for the test (which contains more than 100 questions about American history and the U.S. government, with sections of listening, speaking, reading comprehension and writing). Students in this class should be at an intermediate English language level. Additionally, the class can help anyone improve English language skills to a more advanced level, even if the student is not pursuing citizenship.

People interested in taking this class can contact Chris McQuitty at 586-5718 by March 31. The time and place for this class will be determined by what is available for the majority of the students.

The Learning Connection provides free GED & Adult Education Services, Computer Training, Family Education Programs, and Job Search Assistance at four locations in Juneau.
