Property dispute

The public should be aware that plans to resurface the Herbert River Truck Trail by the Department of Transportation is premature. This property is still in litigation between the state and the current owners. Why the state intends on spending thousands of dollars on a road located on private land that leads to more private land is beyond me. The trail actually ends at the site where we were planning to build our retirement home. We own the property on either side of the road in question, and since the road has never been maintained by any entity for a number of years, even at the pleadings of the current residents of the area, the road has thus legally reverted to the property owner, who is William R. Tonsgard.
