Police arrested two people on drunken driving charges at 1:04 a.m. Sunday from a single incident on Glacier Highway at Alaway Avenue in the Lemon Creek area. They lodged 50-year-old Oscar Demmert and 49-year-old Lavina Jack at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle they were in.
Police arrested 18-year-old George Eli Paul at 4:28 a.m. Sunday in the 7700 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. They also charged him with reckless endangerment and underage drinking. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police arrested a 38-year-old man on a charge of disorderly conduct at 7:25 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Franklin Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.
A burglary was reported at 9:39 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Tongass Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley. No details were available.
Gasoline valued at $29.99 was reported stolen at 11:50 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard in the valley.
A 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass was reported the have been vandalized with spray paint at 3:17 p.m. Saturday while it was parked at Gastineau Avenue downtown.
Two tires were reported slashed on a 1998 Honda Accord at 9:59 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Franklin Street.
At 10:06 a.m. Sunday, a 1998 Mazda driven by a 17-year-old girl stuck a guard rail on inbound Egan Drive, approaching the downtown area. Damage to the car was reported at $1,500.
Hit and run:
A 2003 Dodge pickup was reported hit by an unknown vehicle at 6:51 p.m. Saturday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.
Police impounded a vehicle at 12:13 a.m. Sunday on inbound Egan Drive at Mendenhall Loop Road after citing the driver, a 26-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.
