The Southeast District of the American Red Cross of Alaska is holding a luau from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Centennial Hall. Dinner begins at 7 p.m.
Authentic Hawaiian food, including Kalua pig, chicken kekka, pork char siu and beef teriyaki will be cooked by Steve Iha, Kai Augustine and Kalei Wery. Hawaiian-style serenaders will provide dinner music, and a hula exhibition and lessons will be offered by Halua 'O Kamali "I"e Keakan. Dance music will follow dinner and the silent auction.
Tickets are $50 for individuals and $90 for couples. Tickets are available for purchase at Hearthside Bookstore, www.alaska.redcross.org, at the door or by calling 463-5713.
