Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
About 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, a man (no age given) reported to the Juneau Police Department that he lost a slate gray Nokia cell phone somewhere in Juneau.
At 3:12 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a missing brown, bi-fold leather wallet somewhere in the Nugget Mall.
Shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 20, reported a theft of $15.01 worth of gasoline from Williams Express.
Shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, police arrested a man, 22, at a business in the Mendenhall Center on an outstanding Juneau Alaska State Troopers warrant with bail of $250. The warrant was for failure to pay a fine and failure to comply with conditions of probation on an original charge of sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. The suspect was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Capital City Fire & Rescue responded at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday to a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Glacier Highway and Egan Drive. A white Ford Escort turned in front of a gray Ford Escort. Two ambulances responded, and two injured persons were transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment. A girl, 9, was treated for chest contusions. A man, 38, was treated for multiple contusions. Both were released home in good condition, said Marijo Toner, regional affairs coordinator for Bartlett. A woman, 21, was cited by police for failure to yield. The white vehicle sustained $5,000 damage; the gray vehicle, $2,000 damage.
Juneau Crime Line Inc. offers a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for stealing a blue 1990 GMC pick-up truck from the Auke Bay area. The theft was reported to the Juneau Police Department on Feb. 23. On Feb. 26, the truck was found at the end of Herbert River Road. It had been vandalized and was declared "destroyed" for insurance purposes. Its value is $3,000.
