Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Assaults:
Police arrested a man, 57, for domestic violence assault at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Mendenhall Valley. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Police believe alcohol was a factor.
A man, 24, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. today in the Valley for domestic violence assault. He was lodged at the state prison.
Thefts:
A black fanny pack was reported stolen at 6:27 p.m. Thursday from a vehicle parked near Salmon Creek Dam.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
A Plymouth Voyager was reported damaged at 11:29 a.m. Thursday while parked near John Street. Police did not have a damage estimate.
An unknown amount of heating fuel was reported stolen at 8:15 p.m. Thursday from Delta Drive.
Drugs:
Police cited a man, 41, at 7:10 p.m. Thursday near Marine Way for sixth-degree misconduct with a controlled substance. He was released.
Vehicle accidents:
A Ford Taurus colliding with a parked truck was reported at 9:23 a.m. Thursday near Glacier Avenue. Police did not have an estimate of damage.
A man, 27, sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 5:50 a.m. today on inbound Egan Drive near Sunny Point. The man lost control of his Chevy truck and went off the road.
Other:
Kenneth Willard Jr., 38, was arrested on an outstanding troopers felony warrant charging three counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor, and one count each of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor, sexual contact with a minor, and furnishing alcohol to a minor. He was lodged at the state prison and bail was set at $20,000.
Police arrested a man, 46, at 6:06 a.m. today near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek on an outstanding warrant charging that he failed to appear for a court hearing. The original charge was being drunk on a licensed premises. He was lodged at the state prison.
