...for the support.
The family of Ida Hopkins Kadashan would like to thank Capital City Fire and Rescue, the medical doctors and nurses at Bartlett Regional Hospital, Pastor Greg Lindsey of the Presbyterian Church, and all of you who prepared food, brought flowers, sent cards, and all who came to comfort the family, and donate money. And thank you to those that traveled to Juneau to be with the family, and to those who sang at the services; to the Alaska Native Brotherhood and Sisterhood, Hoonah Camp 12; Huna Totem Corp., Hoonah Indian Association, Central Council Tlingit & Haida, and the Alaska Memorial Parks Staff.
We thank each and every one of you for the kind words and prayers during the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Gunalcheesh.

...for yor kindness.
On March 1, seven Juneau establishments generously contributed to a hospitality suite that fed more than 90 community members who volunteered their time and energy to judge nearly 100 students who participated in the Southeast Regional Science Fair:
Alaska and Proud: Ron Alsup
Coca Cola Distributing: Marvin Newton
Fred Meyer: Fred Sayre
Rainbow Foods: Dave Ottoson
Safeway: Curt Werwinski
Silverbow Inn/Bakery: Ken Alper and Hillary
Super Bear: Pat Shea
Judges appreciated the fabulous hospitality spread and indicated that if we continue to feed them so well, they will continue to volunteer in the future.
On behalf of the science fair organizing committee, I would like to extend our appreciation for your contributions. Your support of Juneau's young scientists is greatly appreciated by all who indulged. Thank you.
Thanks are also due to the Hospitality Committee who helped ensure our judges were well-nourished: Cyndy Gulyas, Tom Hughes, Koren Bosworth, Stephanie Hoag and Susan Baxter.
