More resources, effort needed in Wigen case

Letter to the editor

As demonstrated by your news columns, there is some concern here about the state and pace into the investigation of the murder of Maggie Wigen almost a year ago in Tenakee Springs.

I don't believe it is the intention of anyone to force the police or prosecutors into a rush to judgment. The demands on the Troopers and District Attorneys are many; their resources are spread thinly.

Plainly, more resources and effort are required. I offer this suggestion to enlist the support of the readers to join in supporting the efforts of our law enforcement officials. Simply remind your elected officials, at every level, to remember Maggie.
